I don't like late risers. The big board should basically be in place after the season, with only minor tweaks based on the medicals and personal interviews.

Chances are he was already high on teams board. Late risers is a media term they use when they are playing catch up. It sounds a lot better than "we missed the boat on ranking this kid"

Absolutely fine with it. Guy handcuffed Sam Watkins last year, ran with him stride for stride, and he's one of the fastest guys in the NCAA.

Gilmore's a good player.

Not really a late riser.
Just a name that ESPN isn't talking a whole lot about.
Played at South Carolina and started every game at CB since a Freshmen.
Great size long arms and quick.

What are you talking about. The kid was a stud from day one at USC and Espn was all over him early on. Probably even more in his earlier years then last couple of years.

I would have liked him in rd.2 but that doesn't sound like it's happening now.

We can then take his teammate Jeffrey or Randle in the 2nd to take care of everyone jonesing about a wr.

i think he's better than Kirkpatrick but he's not a top 10 pick.

mehhh...... I personally don't like him as much. Only really watched him in one game, though (South Carolina v. Nebraska) and he was not a solid tackler, which is supposed to be one of his strengths.

I think some of you guys might be overthinking this... I think Kirkpatrick is a much better player.

Welp considering there are 3 CB's I'd rather have over him (and almost all draft experts rank higher than him as well), i'd be livid.

If he ended the season generally ranked as the third or fourth best cb available, and he's starting to get mentioned toward the top of the list after the combine and his pro day, that's a late riser in my book.

He's on the short list, IMO.

Makes plays, sure tackler, blocks fg's, forces fumbles,great athlete. Former HS QB who has taken some wildcat snaps for Spurrier. Better than Kirkpatrick.

Starts immediately. 6-1 193 4.4 burner.
