i just checked out billsasylum.......HOLY SHIZNIT it is THE WORSE football site ive ever seen. for every 1 football post there must of been 50 porn threads. i told em it sucked :). jesus i could do better than that. and all they did was copy BFZ like "billsasylum cash" all the smilies, donation drive, it was PATHETIC.

Please do not bash fellow Bills Sites. We are all fans, and each fan site has a niche to fill. They have only been up for about 2 months, so give them time.

And please, in the future, offer only constructive criticism.

What's with the asylum-bashing? Is there bad blood between the sites? I really don't know. I've been there and I think it's a good site. Then again, I don't know if there's any history between the two or not.

It isnt between the sites. It is between some of the members of each board. They all chose to leave BZ and form BA, and everyone parted on good terms (as far as the "administration" goes for each site), but there were some people who didnt care for one another, and they attack BA to get back at the individual.

BillsZone tries to support all Bills Related Sites. We are a family, and we all serve a function. BillsAssylum has some great multimedia things going on, and also may be a little edgier than BZ. They are owned and operated by a younger group of people which makes for a different perspective and ideas.

I have to say that the radio show that BA is planning sounds like a great Idea and I have heard there will be some top of the line guests on it. Brian H is a good guy! Quizlet on the other hand :snicker:

The bashing is mostly from yours truly.

I kidded around in a thread a while back. The where's spaz thread. I joked that it was obvious spam, after seeing Brian H's poorly written canned message about the site - which I've seen over and over on almost every bills board. Then the kid launched into a childish tirade. So I'll humor them by bashing them every chance I get. :D

So BF, you are the promoter. A little advice. Don’t over do it with the postings. If you want to plug the site, do it subtly – not with a whole pre-written 4 paragraph infomercial sounding ad. Also, check your grammar carefully. When you’re done checking your grammar, do it again. And again.

We let people advertise any site here, as long as it's not spammed on every thread, used to bash this or other sites, ect..ect...

I take exception to the dozens and dozens of unsolicited PM's sent to the membership- this isn't AOL where our PM service is used to annoy hre members. When we get complaints, we take action.

Put a link in your sig (and don't put in huge billboards) and post- that works out great!

Works for me dozer. NYCBBB got almost all of its members together through BFZ, BBI, stadium wall, billsdaily, buffaloblitz, etc. With just a little sig and a few not so over the top plugs and links.

Same at the Bills Asylum pride. We dont mind other Bills websites. We link up to other websites for articles. Once in a while one of your posters makes a very good point and one of our posters will link us over here, for a good post!
