...throughout this great run since the beginning of the year, I've been bagging on Pominville practically every game, saying he hasn't earned the C, or only has so many goals, etc...

Watching him undress Ovetchkin last night was a thing of beauty, and then to score shorthanded....well, those are the things captains do.

You earned it last night...the old fashoned way...by winning the battles in the corners, by keeping your composure, and by flat out doing whatever it took to win the game.
