Was down 2-0 very late in the game, let's hope they get the 2 points now, looks like a 3 point game now.

Damn...quite the comeback. After going 0-0 for the majority of the game and having the Caps get 2 goals I wrote the B's off.

still in 8th if we lose tomorrow by virtue of tiebreakers but it puts pressure on us to keep winning.

I was wrong about this- they have 5 more regulations win than us, so if we lose tonight, we'll still have the same number of points as the Caps but they'll have the tiebreaker.

If we win or lose in OT, we'll have more points and stay ahead of them.

The Sabres just need to take care of their own business & everything else will fall in behind us. Relying on another team to allow you to fall into the playoffs means you're going to fall out of the playoffs.

Our schedule is brutal.

Pitt, Philly, Boston, Leafs 2x- Leafs kinda suck but they always play us tough because of the division rivalry. Somehow we need 4 wins out of that to guarantee playoffs.

Any less and we're leaving it up to chance.

washington might not be the team to catch. it may be ottawa. they have philly, a hot islander team, boston, carolina, and NJ.

The Leafs are going to get killed by us, they gave up & it shows on the scoreboard with 5.16 GAA over the past 6 games. The rest of the games are going to be difficult but those are basically our divisional rivals that we have to play in the playoffs anyways. I don't want the Sabres to back into the playoffs, I want them flying in on their own.

True, they have Boston when Boston still needs to care too, Boston may not care and have #2 spot locked up by the time we play them in the final game of the season. Islanders steamrolled the Penguins two in a row.
