I love it when they do stuff like this. They had a "trade in your slug for a huge discount" program last year.

Unfortunately, they only do it at the store and I live too far away to take advantage.

Bought it for $20 I guess they botched it and reversed the numbers- maybe they can put Danny Gare o it for free

We didn't have too many people come in since this was tweeted at like 11 am and not everyone follows the Sabres on twitter.

I dealt with a lot of angry people over this.

They were angry over the Sabres doing a free promotion? They probably had another number wanted theirs changed to a current player also?

They were angry because they announced it at 11 am on twitter and didn't know about it until they were at the arena with their Connolly jersey back at home. So I get that. It was poor planning and not everyone was aware of it.

But we still got about 50 jerseys dropped off. Lotta fakes, a few slugs, a few vintage blues which makes even less sense since he'll never wear either of those two jerseys.
