The difference is a ****ING shorty in a period we otherwise dominated?

Hodgson is the perfect fit for this team. He's a scorer who can't score.

**** this team for giving us hope. I just hope Pegula and Reiger have the balls to do what needs to be done in the off-season.

Part of my pain is we got bounced by a team that only wanted to see us suffer, Toronto is like the district 1 guy at the end of the hunger games.

Sabres sure didn't give a playoff effort last night. Miller was less than average too.

He's been a major component as why we can't win, we're relying on him paying attention during all his shifts. He's not a closer & gets set up to score but fails even when there is nothing but success there. Those types of players have to weeded out of the line-up.

That may be the only silver lining. This may finally force Reiger and Pegula to break up this rotten core.

I see the problem with this team is they can't hit the friggin' net with their shots.

It's over. Technically we have a chance. Realistically we do not.

Typical Buffalo mediocrity. Not good enough to win. Not bad enough to get a real chance at improvement.

Just good enough to move from 15th to 9th and drop our draft spot.

The only core I want gone is Darcy and Lindy. Let someone else figure out that Roy is not the answer.

Only good thing about how the end of the season finished is how well Stafford has played. Maybe he will get something in return. Two firsts and Stafford for the first or second overall pick.

trading Gaustad for a #1 and getting Cody Hodgson saved Darcy's job. Injuries and the late season run saved Ruffs job. They aren't going anywhere.

I could live with that as long as Roy, Stafford and Boyes are gone.

hopefully FLA and NYR make the ending of the season interesting.

FLA wants their title, its a division rivalry, NYR will be resting players. but they are gonna try to win to hurt WSH if they make they hold the 8th seed.

I'm kind of liking the Foligno-Ennis-Stafford line. I've dogged on Stafford almost as much as anybody, but if we can hope to expect the same kind of production next season I'm not opposed to waiting and finding out for sure before dealing him.

now its all on the sabres to do business on their end.

That's the problem though. Every year it is "this is Stafford's year" and I just don't want to wait anymore. Trade him while his stock is high.
