I don't love him but I think Derek gets an unfair rep. As yes he's not good as his stats in the past have shown and probably getting overpaid but he is still easily talent wise one of our top 6 forwards and wouldn't move unless we get an elite guy to replace him.

because prior to this year he put up 2nd line stats. As bad as his numbers are this year he's still 4th on the team in scoring. Give me him over Ville Leino and Boyes any day of the week.

A top 6 forward on this team is like being the tallest dwarf. This team has no offense and he is reason #1. He needs to be moved just for the sake of moving him.

Well Boyes is a FA and I suspect they will just let him walk.

Leino got a big contract last off-season and no one will touch him after the horrid season he had here. And there were rumors of interest in Roy at the deadline.

I'd rather replace all 3, but Leino is more likely to stay than Roy.
