Tough choices here. Strictly BPA would mean picking OG DeCastro but we do have a few needs that probably need to be addressed for us to be a contending team.

OT Reiff - He's not an elite Left Tackle, but he does have versatility in being able to play LT, RT and even Guard. But if he's not a LT, do you really take him this high???

WR - Michael Floyd. Has some durability and off the field issues, but his height and demeanor would likely compliment Stevie greatly. With the defense much improved, can you resist having a great RB corps AND a great WR corps also???

OG - DeCastro would be a great pick if we actually needed him. Both our guards have done well and even our backups there are pretty decent. After thinking about it, I almost feel that taking a Guard with our 1st is almost equivalent to taking yet another RB.

Decisions, decisions...hears how I would rationalize what to do. Hairston looked pretty decent last year. It was unfortunate that Bell is likely asking for too much money for what he gives. As such, it puts us in a more vulnerable position than I'd like at LT. Nevertheless, Hairston showed promise and has earned a chance to become our solid LT. A decent prospect to him will have to be drafted later. At WR, we cannot count on Easley to produce, though we've been hoping he will be fine and can step up. Donald Jones went downhill after his concussion/brutal hit and Nelson has struggled from time to time or at the very least not been as consistent as we'd like. Floyd is the perfect compliment to Stevie, and his height fits well with the WR mold that they've required here. For the 1st time in a long time, we may have a Moulds/Price like combination that alongside FJ/CJ, will wreak havoc on other teams. Hard to resist that.

My decision is then to draft WR Michael Floyd.

The Buffalo Bills select.....

Michael Floyd!!!

please, let it happen!!!

I have been waivering b/w Floyd, Reiff, and/or Kilpatrick, but the past 2 weeks, it seems clear to me, that if we stay at 10 (which we probably will), Floyd should be the pick. A #2 WR is a glaring need, and he isn't just a guy thats gonna help us 2 years down the road, he can help this team, this year!!

Mr. Miyagi

I'm torn between Floyd, Reiff, and Gilmore.

With a tackle, you still can't start him day 1 at LT. So it means Hairston will get moved to the left and start Reiff on the right for a while.

WR could give you an instant jolt to the offense, if you're in win-now mode.

CB is always a plus but don't we have bigger problems than CB?

I'm going with Reiff for years of stability to come (if he isn't a bust) rather than offensive fireworks in a WR.

I think Floyd is a great college receiver, but something about him scares me. He did have production without a quarterback.

Kuekly reminds me of Poz. He will be decent but nothing special, nothing that warrants the #10 pick.

Reif - He looks to be a fine prospect that isn't elite.

I think the pick will be Floyd.

Reiff... if you wait to get a LT, you're not going to get a LT. There are WRs all over the place.

I regret going Kirkpatrick in my draft because it's made it incredibly difficult to get a tackle.

There is no OT worth the #10 pick in the draft besides Kalil. I think the Bills can draft one later in the draft or possibly pick one off somebodys PS if necessary. No OT that is drafted is going to come in & start anyway so why waste the #10 pick on a bench warmer?

I still think if the Bills can't trade down I would like to see Ingram or Coples. Floyd would be my third choice.

In the top 10, I have to love the guy. I want a future Pro Bowler with no red flags. I have to be sure. There's only one guy left who fits that bill:

David DeCastro, G, Stanford

Would plug in right away at RG and create a monster O-line for years.

I agonized over Floyd right up until I posted this. I'd also be OK with Kirkpatrick or Kuechly. I'm not confident that Reiff or Martin would be the answer at LT.

I would be very tempted to draft Brockers here. He needs developing but this guy could be a force next to Kyle or Dareus.

The next guy in line that could be considered BPA are, IMO, DeCastro and Kuechly. I don't see Buddy drafting an OG this high and according our new defensive philosophy Brockers makes more sense than Kuechly.

It's gota be Floyd here. But here's something interesting... KC Joyner ranks Stephen Hill #1 WR prospect. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2012/story?id=7769463&_slug_=ranking-2012-nfl-draft-top-10-receivers-nfl&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnfl%2fdraft2012%2fstory%3fid%3d7769463%26_slug_%3dranking-2012-nfl-draft-top-10-receivers-nfl

Each wideout was ranked in the following categories: age, height, weight, 40-yard dash time, overall yards per attempt (YPA), short pass yards per attempt (SYPA), vertical yards per attempt (VYPA) and stretch vertical yards per attempt (SVYPA). (Note: Short passes are aerials thrown 10 yards or less downfield; vertical passes travel 11 or more yards; stretch verticals are thrown 20 or more yards. Each player's metrics are based on a tape review of a minimum of nine 2011 contests against BCS conference-caliber opponents.)

The players' rankings in each category were then tabulated on a 1-10 scale with the best score getting a rating of 1. The category rankings were then added up and are listed under the ranking points heading (with a lower score being better).

Now that we have the prelims out of the way, let's take a look at how the rankings turned out.

http://a.espncdn.com/i/teamlogos/ncaa/med/59.gif
1. Stephen Hill (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/29011/stephen-hill)

Birth date: May 1, 1990 (21 years old)
Height/weight: 6-foot-4, 215 pounds
40-yard dash time: 4.36
YPA: 12.0 (43 targets)
SYPA: 4.0 (13 targets)
VYPA: 15.5 (30 targets)
SVYPA: 17.2 (22 targets)

Ranking points: 27

Here's what he had to say about Blackmon and Floyd...

6 (tie). Justin Blackmon (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/28776/justin-blackmon)
Birth date: Jan. 9, 1990 (22 years old)
Height/weight: 6-1, 207
40-yard dash time: 4.46
YPA: 9.0 (139 targets)
SYPA: 8.1 (85 targets)
VYPA: 10.6 (54 targets)
SVYPA: 8.9 (20 targets)
Ranking points: 47
Blackmon is rated first on nearly every wide receiver draft list, but check out his multitude of negatives. He ranked seventh in YPA, eighth in VYPA and dead last in SVYPA of this group. He is in the middle of the pack in height and weight (sixth in both categories), and his 40-yard dash time ranked fourth.
Blackmon's 2011 totals were much worse than his 2010 totals, and the rest of the Oklahoma State pass-catchers had numbers that were roughly equal (http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7211613/oklahoma-state-cowboys-qb-brandon-weeden-win-heisman-cfb) to Blackmon's this past year. He was kept in check (http://insider.espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7577437/texas-longhorns-favorite-win-big-12-2012-cfb) when covered by Texas Longhorns (http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/_/id/251/texas-longhorns) star cornerback Carrington Byndom (http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/501927/carrington-byndom) this past season and, as good as Byndom is, the NFL will give Blackmon that caliber of competition in nearly every game.

6 (tie). Michael Floyd (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/28158/michael-floyd)
Birth date: Nov. 27, 1989 (22 years old)
Height/weight: 6-3, 220
40-yard dash: 4.47
YPA: 7.3 (136 targets)
SYPA: 7.1 (87 targets)
VYPA: 7.8 (49 targets)
SVYPA: 9.6 (30 targets)
Ranking points: 47
Floyd, in many ways, had by far the most disappointing set of numbers in this entire analysis. He ranked dead last in YPA and VYPA and was next to last in SVYPA. The only saving graces for him were his showings in height (ranked second) and weight (ranked first). When his incredibly low on-field production levels are added to the multiple off-field issues he had in his Notre Dame career, it means he brings a ton of risk to whatever team ends up drafting him.

Personally I don't think the value is going to be there at 10. It looks like you'd be able to get a similar player value wise 10 spots later. But trading down is often hard to do. If there's a deal out there to add an additional 2nd I'd take it. But that's not what this game is so here's my thoughts if we stay put.

I hate the idea of taking a receiver at 10. Not to say we couldn't use help there but it goes against my grain of how to build a team which is inside out and receivers are better taken later generally. Felt like Spiller was a luxury pick and WR would be a luxury pick now.

If there was a guy you knew could play LT that would make a lot of sense. I don't see a sure fire LT though. I'm less excited about drafting a RT at 10. But I also hate taking a flier at 10 so if the choice was Riley Reiff I'd be ok with that, at least you know you're not drafting a bust, no small thing for the Bills. But that's not my first choice.

We are still several pieces away from having a great defense and I'd like to see us finish the D. I don't see a CB that is worthy of the 10th pick. We are starving for linebackers. Sheppard should be a good player but I could see him being moved to SLB in a 4-3, he is big enough to take on TE's. If you did that you'd need a tackling machine in the middle, someone that just makes plays. That player is Luke Kuechly. He could make an impact on our D. Defensive players go fast, rather grab one in round 1, maybe hope a OT slips or a QB with potential for round 2.

To me there is such a dropoff at OT after Kalil that none of them warrants a 10 pick, the rest fall somewhere between 15-25.

I like Floyd and would certainly not be unhappy with him in a Bills uni, truthfully he maybe the best value/pick for our position.

Id still like to see another piece to the defense added, Upshaw or kirkpatrick would be welcome.

At the end of the day given our needs, where we pick, and the players gone I think ill have to go Floyd.

We are in a very tough spot at #10. Reiff isn't worthy of the 10 spot, Floyd isn't worthy of the 10 spot but both positions are needs.

The question is, what pick would give us the most value. Aside from trading down, which is what I am hoping for, I think that Kuechly might provide the most bang for the buck. I understand that LBs in Wanny's scheme aren't truly "featured" if you will, but the guy can play both the run and the pass. You can never have enough guys getting after the QB. The draft is deeper at LT and WR so we can probably grab them in RD 2/3.

I am loving what our defense is shaping up to be and I would much rather have Keuchly in there instead of Kirk Morrison.
