All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Holy cow you're fast. Just saw that. So we lose two LTs to Philly? ick.
"Talk is cheap, we all know that. It's like I've always said, don't tell me about the labor pains, just show me the baby. That's what we've got to do. We've got to show you the baby, and the baby is winning." ~Buddy Nix
F-him, he can't stay healthy & wanted Jason Peters money. The Bills were never going to pay that type of money regardless or give Bell a 5 year deal anywhere near the 8 figure a year mark.
5 years? Jesus. He hasn't proven jack, and he gets a 5 year deal? Philly is turning into Washington.
My guess is, it's heavily backloaded and is also pretty easy for the Eagles to get out of at anytime, if they choose to.
Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that, with Vick being left handed, their Left Tackle isn't protecting the blind side, which could mean a lesser offer than a "normal" LT would get.
unlike the peters deal, i think the majority of bills fans agree with how the bills dealt with this. there are plenty of warning signs that he wasn't going to be reliable, however he looked good when he was out there.
i know this board hates "inside sources", but a year or two ago, my dad's friend who is connected to the bills said that there was a real concern about Bell's body type. I forget how it was phrased but they essentially saw him as a big body that needed to really workout to get stronger and more fit. he wasn't as muscular as most OTs. And with injuries it was hard to get him to improve that. So if you agree with that or trust that's accurate, you can see why the bills gave him the offer they gave him. And if that is their assessment, they really can't trust that he'll ever remain healthy.
Look at wood who has been injured two years in a row, but the injuries are people landing on him. Bell's injuries are nagging and from wearing out from regular plays. You kind of assume wood luck might change and he comes back strong each time. Bell takes a long time to heal and most likely goes out again.
i would have liked to have him back as depth though. but money talks.
