All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Buffalobills.com has learned that a pair of players widely forecast as first round picks and two other top prospects are making such visits to One Bills Drive today. Alabama RB Trent Richardson and Ohio State OT Mike Adams are the headliners with Syracuse DL Chandler Jones and Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson also visiting.
Along with Russell Wilson a trio of prospects have gathered at One Bills Drive for visits as RB Trent Richardson, OT Mike Adams, and DE Chandler Jones all have gathered. Word of this comes from the Buffalo Bills official site. Richardson and Adams are seen as first round picks while Jones is a potential Day 2 guy and a native New Yorker.
Scouting Report links on all three players are in that story for those interested.

If Richardson made it to 10, that would seem to be ideal, IMO. You have to think someone would be trying to trade up to get him. And that probably means some of our top targets (Blackmon, Floyd) are gone.

if the bills only have so many allocated spots to have visits, richardson seems a bit of a waste. he won't be there at 10, and if he is, it's a "no brainer" to take him sight unseen.
i would think you want to have people you don't know well enough from tape and the smoke screen visits to keep other teams guessing on whether they should trade with you.
but i'm not a gm. it doesn't stress me out, but it does seem like an odd selection for 30 visits.

Now, come to think about it, Richardson and Spiller would be potentially a very nice 1 - 2 punch at RB, and would set us up at that position for a few years. What is his injury history like? I'm asking because of his size. 5' 9" is rather small for any NFL player. Bills are doing due diligence, no question. I'm just asking for the simple reason of that possibility of BPA at 10 being Richardson even in the slightest of chances. RB prospects haven't exactly garnered a lot of attention this year due to the fact the Bills seem to already be set at the position as was pointed out in that article you linked here.
