    The Boston game

Boston has nothing to play for anymore right? Will they lay down for us?

They should rest their players. They've clinched the #2 spot.

Boston is 1-2-1 vs the Caps.

        Boston is 3-1-1 vs Buffalo.

common sense would say allow buffalo to limp into the first round minus most of their Dmen and stomp them, instead of facing an opponent you have a losing record to, except for 1 game.

No one in the NHL is going to lay down for anyone.

Boston may rest/short shift some of their better guys, as the game is meaningless to them in terms of the standings. They can't move up or down from 2.

But that doesn't mean they are going to "lay down." The guys who get extra playing time are going to want to step up and play well, particularly on national TV.

I would hope that our regulars going all-out could beat their 3rd and 4th lines, but it wouldn't be the first time a Buffalo team lost a must-win game against another team's bench.

I don't think the Boston game is on National TV.

****, you're right. For some reason I thought it was on NBC or NBCSN.

Goddammit, looks like I'm gonna have to find a bar.

**** the NHL and their ****ty TV contract.

Chara Thomas and Bergeron didnt even make the flight to Ottawa. But they will play against Buffalo they're going to use that game as a tune up game.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                          It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
