On behalf of myself and my friends, I would like to thank BFzoners who were at the tailgate party. We loved the food, I really enjoyed meeting you all and wished I could have had a little more time to talk football with you. You folks really made the 7 hour drive thru sat night worth it. I look foward to many more Tail Gates. Even now, I'm contemplating what other dazzling food dishes to cook up for you folks.

I didn't beg my way to victory. I had 2 very rich, surprise donors today. And I didn't ask either of them for a penny! I asked CP and Earthquake for money, that's all! And CP only gave me $128. Earthquake just ignored my plea. lol

Uh, one of my donations came from another female! And she's NOT a lesbian! You're just mad because I'm popular and you're not! ;)

Log, I thanked CP in a very nice way. I was just telling Cas that I didn't beg for donations and a few of them were small amounts. CP knows how much I appreciated what he did for me. Don't be looking to start trouble. Log:hammeru:Jaded

Keithg,

sorry, I didn't get back to you a little sooner on your question.

Last year, I took a route thru Pennsylvania and SW New York state. Route is as follows: NJ/IS 80w-Pa/Rt 380n til merge with Pa/IS 81(Pa Turnpike) -NY/Rt 17w to NY/Rt390n to Rochester to then Pick up NY thruway (IS 90w) into Buffalo.

This route is supposed to be the shortest. It took me about 7 hours. This route is very picturesque, especially in the Corning Elmira area, but I found out the hard way that it can be treacherous in bad weather.

This year I went staight up NY thruway IS 87 to Albany then followed it West as IS 90 on a straight run to Buffalo. This way is not the shortest but because of the speeds I could make on 90, I cut my time down about 45 min from the projected 7 hours. This way is simple and easy to follow when your traveling in the middle of the night when half asleep.

That and the adults on tricyles slow you down.

It's quicker to get off route390 at exit 6 or 7, go through Mt. Morris (on route 36, i believe) to 20A, which takes you right to the stadium.

36 from Mt Morris to Leicester where you get on 20A. From Leicester to the game is about 50-55 minutes if you go before the crowds start.

Before orchard park, you might want to take a Right on to Transit Road, then a left on Milestrip Road to Southwestern (Route 20, which also runs right up to the stadium). That gets you around a NASTY red light that took us 30 minutes to get through for a PRESEASON game!

that's the way we take to get around traffic...

I'm a pretty decent cook myself you know. ;) It was just too hot to cook and by the time Helmet Guy and I made it back to our party, we decided just to wait till after the game.

I just forced one of my friends (Chuck, he was at the TG and game) to buy a house about 1 mile from the stadium.

It will be built and ready by New years, so I got my parking spot!!

It's been ages since I went to a tailgate party -

It was back in 1975, with my pal Jimmy H from the teamsters. We hung out in the parking lot of Giants Stadium. Of course, Giants Stadium didn't open for another year. Last I saw him he was somewhere near the 20 yard line.....
