Brad Smith isn't getting cut, even if we were in one of the first two spots.
More likely than not any QB we take in the draft will not secure a roster spot and will at least start the season on the practice squad. Thigpen will still be #2, but susceptible to being replaced on the regular roster at any time, especially if another team attempts to sign our drafted QB from our PS.YardRat Wall of Fame

Thigpen clearly shouldn't get comfortable, since the Bills kept playing an injured QB over him last year. I could see the Bills strongly considering cutting him before opening day.
With the Bills having 3 QB's visit OBD in the last week, I'm sure a QB selection somewhere in Rounds 3-5 is going to happen. With extra picks in Rounds 4,5 & 7, it's hardly surprising. Will still get 2 CB's, a LT, an OLB ,a WR and more.
I'll wait until camp to see what we have before passing judgement. Williams and Anderson are a good start.Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

I want a QB, but not Wilson, and would not mind if Smith was cut, he is an absolute waste of money and a roster spot too. He looked slow, dropped passes, missed blocks, looke completely like a player who was not engaged and did not care very much last season after being paid. aDD IN THE facT that he is silly non productive for his salary.
As far as Thigpen, he can fight for his roster spot. There is vey little about Thigpen that different than Fitzpatrick. He was every bit as good as Fitz was when Fitz had extended play in Cincinnati before the Bills gave him a chance for even more extended play. Thigpen in KC was every bit as good as Fitz was, who knows, maybe even Thigpen can be as good as a below average around 80 QB rating like Fitzpatrick? Geesh, those are pretty low standards to aspire too, I bet he could be that just as below average as Fitzpatrick is.
