They signed two bad guards so people think they won't draft a guard. Now they sign a bad corner and people think they won't take a corner. don't be surprised if they sign a bad WR, too.

Oh, they may very well still draft a cb. But the Newman signing could definitely influence their draft. For example, they could decide that, since they at least have a stop-gap in Newman, they can afford to take a big gamble and draft Jenkins, instead of going with Kirkpatrick, who is a much safer pick, but doesn't have as high of a ceiling.

Mike likes to collect former #1's. Already on the roster is Nate Clements, Derrick Harvey, Jamaal Anderson, Reggie Nelson, Manny Lawson, Taylor Mays, Pac-Man Jones, Jason Allen.

BTW - looks like they are going to peddle LB Keith Rivers to NYG...
