    A Tight End prospect?

    Taylor Thompson, Southern Methodist University.

Was a DE in college but prior to that was a wide receiver in high school. At his pro day, he was put through a number of tests and apparently impressed as a tight end having lost none of his receiving skills.

Like drafting someone like Julius Thomas as the Broncos did, or Jimmy Graham of the Saints could he be an option in the 4th round, in a weak TE class?

    His measurables are:

    Height: 6ft6
    Weigtht: 260lbs
    40: 4.59 & 4.56
    Leap: 37"
    Long: 10-6
    SS: 4.41
    3cones: 7.40
    Reps: 22

Gil Brandt thinks he might have worked his way into the Top100

Do you agree with drafting players who you then convert to other positions and can our new TE coach Mr Peter Metzelaars have some greatness rub off?

We already have Metzalaars in Chandler!!

Guess we need McKeller. While we are at it, we should get a Butch Rolle too!!

    I kid.

I dont see us needing a TE. I think well get a playmaking WR, and with Johnson, Nelson, and our RBs, we just need a possession TE who can just catch a 10 yd pass, which we have.

Chandler got 38 catches last season - had his tds early. Seems to me, that the TE isn't much of a part of the Bills' O schemes. If that's so, I'd be surprised if they spent a pick on one.

He also had injuries and alot of his success was due to Jackson and Johnsons early success. Chandler also became to popular, and teams recognized him and added him to the gameplan. Well see how good he is if he can have a good consistant season

Those measurables would be pretty impressive at his college position of defensive end too. Who wouldn't want a 6'6" defensive end who could run a sub 4.6 40?
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

We have our pass-rushers, now we need our weapons in the pass attack...that's what wins in today's NFL
