The lone remaining event on the NFL (http://bleacherreport.com/nfl) calendar prior to the 2012 NFL draft is the release of the 2012 schedule.
It was rumored to be this week. There was even a false leak, but it appears we'll have to wait until next Tuesday, April 17th, to see when teams play each other.
We already know all the opponents, but the fashion in which they are ordered could make all the difference for a legitimate playoff run.
Rumors indicate that next Tuesday seems likeliest, considering the draft is two weeks away and, as ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/10/signs-for-schedule-release-still-point-to-april-17/) points out, TVGuide.com already shows an ESPN "SportsCenter Special (http://espn.go.com/espntv/onair/index?start=4-17-12-4:00-PM)" for 7 p.m. EST on the 17th.
