All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

It sucks for the city to lose the national exposure, but at the same time it'll be good to get two scenarios where the odds are against us out of the way in one loss.
I would hate it, but it wouldn't surprise me. It was reported a little while back that one of the reasons the Bills don't get consideration for home prime time games now is the lack of infrastructure for newer broadcasting technology and what not or something like that. Improvements in this area is supposed to be part of the proposed stadium renovations though.
I think the Bills will get a couple prime time games, but both will probably be on the road.

Correlation and causality!
Really they have sucked everywhere lately - Toronto and national TV have nothing to do with it.
Ugh. More disgusted than anything. Watching NFL Toronto games is about as fun as watching tennis or golf. No way the Rogers atmosphere comes close to the Ralph.
"Talk is cheap, we all know that. It's like I've always said, don't tell me about the labor pains, just show me the baby. That's what we've got to do. We've got to show you the baby, and the baby is winning." ~Buddy Nix
A home game would be awesome, but we all know that it won't happen. It will be in Toronto or, more likely, on the road against a super-good team (NE, SF, etc.)
"Miami played pretty damn good today and still got their ass kicked."

yeah but it's been at least 10 years since they've won a night game (including 2 unbelievable epic choke jobs) and they have a .250 winning percentage in Toronto.
As bad as they've been overall lately, their performance in Toronto and in night games is significantly worse.
Of course, I have no way to prove it objectively, but I think that giving up a home game to an unsupportive crowd in Toronto and playing on national TV take a mental toll on the players that they haven't been able to overcome.
I hate the whole Toronto series BS.... so I'm already pissed
this is the last year of it, and it's been largely unsuccessful in terms of Rogers making money. I doubt Rogers renews unless Ralph gives him a huge discount, and Mario Williams notwithstanding, we know the old man does not part with money easily.
Oh by the way... if you live in Rochester or Syracuse or Utica or any other place that has Time Warner and you don't have a dish you'll have to go to the bar to watch the TNF game.
Buffalo, as the Bills Primary Market, get to simulcast the game over the air on WKBW. The Secondary Markets do not get that privilege.
