    Insider: Kiper's "A" grade mock

    AFC East

    Buffalo Bills
Top needs: LT, WR, OLB, CB, QB
Rd 1 (10) WR Michael Floyd
Rd 2 (41) OT Jonathan Martin
Rd 3 (71) LB Mychal Kendricks
Analysis: Not in order, but I've hit my top three needs if I'm Buffalo. There are front offices that have Floyd as the top wide receiver in the draft, so getting him at No. 10 is pretty fair, given I've had him at about that spot on my Big Board. Floyd is a big target who will pick up the route tree quickly and give Ryan Fitzpatrick a much-needed new option. Martin is a guy who once carried a solid first-round grade and could be a total steal at No. 41. Kendricks has immense physical talent and could be plugged in immediately, something the team did with Kelvin Sheppard last year.

Mel Kiper makes picks for every AFC team through three rounds of the 2012 NFL draft, selecting the best player in his opinion.

I think I'd be very happy if we got these 3 guys in the 1st 3 rounds, particularly the 1st and 2nd rounds.

I'd be doing cartwheels if this came together, at least 2 starters there.

That's a draft we should all be able to live with!

Although Floyd lasting til 10, and Martin til 41 are both problematical.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

What do u mean by this? Floyd is way better than Maybin. Floyds strength is his size, and hes possibly the best WR in the draft. Maybin was like the 4th-5th best passrusher
Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinions

              Hasn't Floyd already received a couple DUI's?

Weird to see Martin at #41.... That means a few other possible OT's have leap frogged. him

Martin played next to DeCastro much of his college career... My money says lots of scouts/GM's feel Martin was the bigger benefactor of that tandem.

I am also shocked at people who don't beleive Floyd can be there at #10

he got 1 and a couple citations for underage drinking...i wouldnt make a big deal out of the citations alone but paired with the DUI it could be a bit troubling.

Something about him irks me. I don't like his vibes.

have you actually met him? just curious how you can dislike someone's "vibes" from online articles.

Bruce Smith was rarely sober & had multiple DUI's, so I cannot see how excessive drinking at a young at can be construed as a major issue. F, I'm drunk right now.

Floyd is very quiet, soft spoken. When he talks he doesnt speak with much energy. But you know who else was like that? Marvin Harrison, Andre Johnson? Andre Reed? Maybin on the other hand had no video footage of more than i believe 2 sacks that were viewable to public, and still consistantly seemed overconfident and was very hyphy in interviews. Honestly im afraid of getting a bust at 10, and Floyd is the only sure thing that would improve the team alot. Luke Floyd and DeCastro our the options from our eyes at 10. Floyds position and the low level of talent we have, would be more of an impact to get than the other 2.

i never said it was a major issue, i actually said it "could be a bit troubling"...i dont think a college kid drinking is an issue whatsoever, however it will definitely be taken into account especially because of the DUI. Teams dont want problem children who are missing games due to suspensions.

That would be amazing. I doubt Martin makes it to 41. I think he'll go near the end of the first round.
