NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Ohio State OT Mike Adams tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Combine.

These leaks happen every year. While they sometimes don't torpedo draft stock, it's another red flag for Adams -- a player who already struggles on game tape. We wouldn't expect him to be drafted in the first round. Per La Canfora, Adams has been "upfront" with teams about the drug test, and he has already completed a counseling program. Look for Adams to be a mid-second-round pick.

but it doesn't make any sense to throw away guaranteed money.

it sure isn't hard to quit it either. done that numerous times leading up to new jobs.

didn't even have the inspiration of million$$$. Heck some of those jobs barley paid me $12 an hr

It's hard for some guys apparently. Ask THen or Ricky Williams, the list goes on. I wouldn't have a problem if pot was made legal but still banned by the NFL. NFL coaches have enough on their plates without a bunch of guys showing up to practice feeling mello and looking for a bag of chips.

I'm not a draft guru or anything, by my answer is: **** no.

Seriously, not just "no", not "hell no", but "**** no."

This guy knew when the combine was, knew that it was a chance to showcase his talents, get poked and prodded in every way imaginable and either boost or lower his draft stock, yet this mother****er thought it was OK to smoke weed beforehand?

I don't want that sort of ignorance and stupidity on my team, sorry.

This isn't even about the marijuana... It's about the fact that he was dumb enough to jeopardise his career, simply because he couldn't keep off of the weed for a few days.
