NFL expands roster to 90 players, instead of 80

It doesn't change the final 53:

Last month, the NFL's owners tabled until May a variety of proposed changes, including the expansion of the offseason rosters from 80 to 90 players per team.

12.5% increase in the chow line too, Ralph's Denny's relationship is going to be strained after this.

FWIW - some more info on the expanded roster...

..."90 AND COUNTING: With word the NFL has expanded the training camp rosters to 90 players as the league did last year in wake of the lockout, underdogs everywhere are loving it. It doesn't make a huge difference with the numbers. Instead of not counting unsigned draft picks and tendered players, everyone counts.

What it does mean is an undrafted player doesn't have to get cut when a drafted player signs and he'll get a shot to go through training camp."...

sounds like they are prepping for the eighteen game season. if they are its kinda sneaky, getting teams used to the extra bodies which would make it easier to accept two more games

I can see us entering this season with a **** load of QBs. I get a feeling were going to possibly get one in the 3rd-5th, then one in the 7th. Then possibly some in UDFA. We defintly have the no ones job is safe approach.
