    Re: Mayock's Top 100

I agree with top 20 for the most part. I think Barron, Gilmore, Jones are that good. I'm very high on Hightower, I like Ingram, & Wright.

Some of these guys have really shot up! Reminds me of Von Millers rise last year.

      Re: Mayock's Top 100

Question, if Barron is that good, why is it when the season ended there were no safteys supposed to be takin in the 1st? I remember when the mocks first came out, no safetys. It was a horrible year for them initially.
Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinions

Every year there are risers & fallers. There are a few reasons for this:
        1) combine & workouts: great/poor measurables will influence your draft position
        2) further study:
        3) interviews:
        4) background

Just because some one is rising late doesn't mean that they are not worth it. As scouts get more info they fine tune their boards which at the end of this process should be more accurate than at beginning. Von Miller was a late riser last year.

It's simple. People in the media and all these mock draft fan sites really don't know anything. As the draft gets closer the media and everyone else starts to get a better idea of what the actual pro scouts are thinking and as a result adjust their own rankings accordingly. I think the phrase "Player X is shooting up teams draft boards" is a bunch of baloney. Teams don't change their grades that significantly based on workouts and what not.

I love a ton of his rankings. He has Wright at #16... I was hoping to get him in the 2nd. Jeff Allen is a name I hadn't heard much of. Could that be a 2nd round LT target for us? There are a ton of CBs from #39 to #87... I really hope we wait til the 3rd on that one.

Somebody needs to edit and clip this.

              Some quick thoughts;
Chandler Jones, Shea McClellin, AJ Jenkins, Derek Wolfe, and Harrison Smith are imo too high.

David DeCastro, and Reuben Randle are too low.
              COMING SOON...

Kinda funny list by Mayock, IMO.

Agreed on Wolfe. I've seen him play a lot. Decent player, probably in the mid 4th.

I like Sanu a lot, for CIN.
