as a made up name black folks got this one right. burfict is kind of a weird surname so if youre making up a first name it has to flow and fit well with that

I still think he could be good, but nothing more than a pass rush specialist at times. The psychotic part of his game very little have, and when passrushing its sometimes a great asset.Not here to be right, just here to have interesting discussions about my impulsive opinionsComment

another way well intentioned but wrong people do something they think is good but actually perpetuates racism is by applying the racist label to things it doesnt belong to
examples:
- good natured ethnic humor, especially when applied toward one joke but not another (ie. redneck vs ghetto humor)
- observations of ethnicity in media (ie. calgon ancient chinese secret commercial - chinese folks really do own a ton of urban laundries)
- sensitivity to connecting one cultural food to a race but not another (ie. fried chicken and kool-aid vs. greens and beans and cappicino)
how this hurts the cause:
- muddys the water; wastes energy on false unimportant issues
- cheapens the impact of the word racism when it really exists
- creates and reinforces double standards that actually widen the understanding gap between racesOne set of rules for all in the beloved communityComment
