Profootballtalk.com passes along "increasing buzz" that Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick is "dropping" on draft boards around the NFL.
PFT's Mike Florio clarifies that Kirkpatrick isn't actually "dropping," though. He was simply never as high on draft boards as media pundits believed. We still anticipate Kirkpatrick being selected in the teens, with Cincinnati at No. 17 as a logical landing spot. San Diego at No. 18 makes some sense, as well.
