    1st Round Grades

    10. Buffalo Bills – Stephon Gilmore CB South Carolina, CB: 8, BB: 49, Grade: C

The Bills take Stephon Gilmore to round out of the top 10. This pick wasn’t a huge surprise given that the Bills went and saw Gilmore multiple times this year. Gilmore has a ideal size, athletic ability, and ball skills. However he gambles far too often for our liking and has a tendency to bite on double moves and pump fakes.

Can I be your editor? Seriously, it's getting to me how simple these things can be fixed and make the site validated.

Of all the other possible options left for the Bills, who out there would have been a far and beyond way better selection?

Trade down would have been ideal, but it takes two to tango. Three trades in the top 10, as well as every top 10 talent all essentially being selected before our pick. Tell me who would have been a more tremendous selection at our pick?

Gilmore and Floyd were the only players worth that number 10 pick, as far as need and value goes. All analysts agree Gilmore was the number 2 CB moving ahead of Kirkpatrick these past few weeks. I seriously don't understand this tampon attitude from more than half this board over this pick.

Its not a sexy pick, but at the end of the day, you still need to defend against Brady if you're going to comete for the division.

it depends on who you ask. Most draft experts had Gilmore as a top 10 prospect. Bills need a CB, this was a solid and safe pick.

Now that the draft is finally done, I've updated the entire group of grades for every team including all trades for every team and a final grade at the top of the slide. Some grades may seem a bit generous but this is my honest opinion on the picks...

This was the guy I wanted to whole time.
Yea he gambles a bit, but sometimes u need to gamble to win big.
We needed a CB, and we grabbed the Best 1 available.
I had Gilmore and Claiborne close as far as ranking anyway.
You can tell this was an easy pick for the Bills selection was in as fast as Carolina took there guy.
Today I think the Bills will look at OT, WR, or OLB, maybe another CB if there is 1 there early.

I think it's been pretty well documented that DB had Gilmore ranked lower than the conventional pundits. Give it three years, and we'll see how he turns out.
