I think he's just not a great fit in any particular defense.

He's short in height and has short arms, which doesn't mean he can't play, but he doesn't have elite speed to help compensate for it either like a Dwight Freeney.

As much as you may hate to think this, Floyd woulda actually been more considered a reach than Gilmore. Where Gilmore went was exactly were everyone thought. Floyd, if the Cards didnt snatch him up, woulda dropped deep.

And honestly, if there from Bama, take em. Bamas class of this year can probably go down as one of the greatest nfl draft class from one college. Upshaw, Barron, Kirpatrick, Richardson, and Hightower all were looked at as top 20 picks which is incredible. 2 of which went in the top 8.
