    Love this Nix quote!

On if Glenn is a guard:
BN: No he’s not a guard. He started 50 games, the last 16 was left tackle. We put it out there, we tried to spread the rumor that he was a guard and hope somebody wouldn’t take him.

Nix is now admitting to spreading rumors to drop draft stock on players he likes... Love it.

Why did he draft a wr in the 3rd that he could have gotten in the fifth?

That was an effective rumor... it even has a ton of people on here convinced he isn't a tackle.

a speed WR who can return punts and kickoffs would not of been there.

Teams need return guys and field stretchers, someone would of jumped on him if the Bills didn't.

I believe both McShay and Kiper went off on he is a RT only when the Bills took him.

the quotes from gbnreport and the senior bowl practice where Cordy went up against Ingram and Coples and dominated

(see this thread for discusion) http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/sho...d.php?t=211748

quotes like these about Cordy make me very happy.

The following notes of note are snippets that were taken at live practices, practice tape and game tape. Ourlads NFL Scouting Services studied over 600 players from seven college all-star games. The Senior Bowl: Mike Adams (Ohio State) – 6070, … Continue reading →

Cordy Glenn (Georgia) – 6054, 346, hands 10”, arms 35 1/8”, wing span 84 5/8”. Had a dominant week of practice and showed his versatility playing left guard and both tackle positions. A big man who can pull and be productive in space. Good angles and feet to seal linebackers on the second level. Powerful and mobile with good balance
Believe it or not, Cordy Glenn might be the most versatile offensive lineman in the entire 2012 NFL draft. He has the ability to play both the tackle and guard position, possessing abnormal athleticism for someone his size...

Believe it or not, Cordy Glenn might be the most versatile offensive lineman in the entire 2012 NFL draft. He has the ability to play both the tackle and guard position, possessing abnormal athleticism for someone his size.
This has led many experts to believe that he will be a top 20 pick in the draft later this week, and that is extremely difficult to disagree with.
This article it going to focus on six strengths and weaknesses as they relate to Cordy Glenn and his ability to transition to the National Football League.
One of the best battles at this week's Senior Bowl practice in Mobile, Alabama has been the fight in the trenches between a number of SEC offensive and defensive linemen...

Georgia's Glenn has stood out at offensive tackle for much of the week. Although some are considering Glenn a guard prospect at the next level, Glenn has taken his role as the South's largest player very seriously.
"I think I've gotten better with each day," said the former Bulldog. Glenn continued, "I'm trying to pay attention to all the details (the coaches) are telling me."
And it shows. Glenn has been one of the more consistent offensive lineman from either squad through the week's first three workouts.

The Best Player on the Field: Georgia offensive tackle Cordy Glenn.
Most looked at Glenn strictly as a guard, but the 6-5¼, 340-pounder dominated the practice sessions at left tackle. He showed tremendous foot speed and agility and his hand-placement skills and his ability to adjust to quick movement was the most impressive feature of Senior Bowl practices. He practically stoned every speed pass rusher that lined up against him and he moved himself up from being a late first-round choice to the middle part of the opening round.

Cordy Glenn, OL, Georgia - The massive 6'6, 346-pound Glenn had a very impressive showing this week in Mobile. For a player many are expecting to kick inside to guard on size alone, Glenn held his own even at left tackle this week. He carries his weight surprisingly well and handled edge rushers for the greater part of the week. If he can get his hands on a defender, the battle's won. Though he was beat by Vinny Curry once in the game, Glenn kept the door open for himself to play right tackle in the pros after winning far more match-ups than he lost.
BUT there were some reports stating the opposite which is weird to hear 2 distinctive different reports

Quinton Coples from North Carolina continued to show why he is the draft’s top defensive end prospect. He beat Florida State tackle Zebrie Sanders on bull rushes three times during the one-on-one period. Coples also had his way with Georgia’s Cordy Glenn, who spent the majority of the day positioned at left tackle. The North Carolina stud beat Glenn early on in the drill by using a nasty rip move. Later, he bull rushed the Georgia tackle all the way into the backfield where the quarterback would have been. Coples isn’t really explosive, but he wins battles by using his strength and technique.

Cordy Glenn does not look like he can play the left tackle position at a high level in the NFL. He struggles to keep with faster pass-rushers, and doesn’t have great footwork. The former Bulldog should really be used as a guard, which fits his skill set much better than at the tackle position.

For all the good play of Cordy Glenn the past three days, few scouts in attendance believe he's a left tackle prospect. He struggled with speed rushers during today's practice.

Not much really. NOBODY is breaking the bank anymore with their first contract. Glenn has a great shot to play LT for the Bills & if he does well, he will CA$H in on his second contract.
