Another positive to the rookie salary cap...get 'em signed and ready for mini-camps.

Sign Gilmore and Glenn and we're set. Couldn't care less about Roscoe.

I think this rookie wage scale is awesome. Finally we don't have to worry about players missing time due to holdouts.

Does anybody know when the playbooks are distributed? Once contracts are signed or when TC starts?

So, you've already judged Graham to be another Roscoe, and have no use for our 3rd round draft pick, who is much bigger than Parrish and has great speed.

You must be an amazing talent evaluator. I'm surprised, with your skills, that you're not an NFL GM.:roflmao:

Graham is taller than Lee Evans. And he will compete for a spot on the outside. Although he can be, he's not going to be a slot receiver for the Bills, according to Buddy and Chan.

These comparisons to Roscoe continue to make no sense.

Graham will play a big role in the offense. He is a good fit and has underrated skills.

You guys have a lot of faith in an UDFA (basically what he was)

They will if he can't take a season long beating in the NFL.

Graham is who I'm going to have my eyes glued on in TC! I want to see if he has what it takes and what we need. Hopefully Mikey can keep an eye on him too. Boy would it be great to have him be the gem we need him to be...and it'd be a bonus if Easley could fully develop this yr and stay healthy.

What does that even mean? How was he "basically" an undrafted free agent?

That's ****** code for "I never heard of him so I hate him"

They would continue, but I still don't think they'd be valid. A lot of guys miss time in the NFL. Lee Evans missed 10 games the last 2 seasons. Our own WRs (like Donald Jones) missed games. We don't immediately compare them to Roscoe Parrish.

And nothing really suggests he can't handle it. Looks like he missed a handful of games is sophomore season but otherwise played every game at NC State throughout his career.

The issue here is that people hear "fast WR" and a guy they never really heard of until the draft and they think "he must be small, another Roscoe." And that's just not true.

Lee Evans missed zero games his first six seasons, Donald Jones is still wet behind the ears...that's why they don't get compared to a guy who managed to stay healthy for only 2 of 7 years.
