Great signing. Although its a backup position, our team just got even better. He has all the talent in the world, Im willing to give him a shot and hope he has matured and isn't a mental midget anymore

You don't like the move? I think it's a good move. No risk. Thigpen is horrid, and at least VY brings another element to the field, if he has to see it.
I'd be 1000000 times more confident in VY than I would in Thigpen.Comment

It's a good move, it's only for 1 year and it Fitz struggles and Vince isn't good at all, that will say to the Bills brass it's time to go out and get a higher caliber QB. I still HOPE (not expecting) Tanney or Corp show enough to unseat him as the backup, but he is a great safety net option for us.

One thing is for sure... Buddy Nix said all the right things by saying he is strictly here to compete for the backup spot but lets get real here. If Fitz has one of his trademark 4 or 5 game skids where he throws a ton of interceptions and questionable throws then the controversy will begin (weather his skid is injury related or not). V Young should be here to compete with Fitz as well. This is not high school football it can only be positive for Fitz to look over his shoulder and force him to get better. Competition brings the best out in men. If you really look at it both Vince and Fitz are on a one year deal. The Bills can terminate Fitz contract by not picking the option up after this season. Probably the biggest thing here is that Thigpen isn't making this roster now. No Way he gets 2.5 million this season to be 3rd string. They can probably get a 7th round pick for him or release him and put that cash towards an extension for Byrd or Levitre like they did by releasing Florence and then closing Freddie's deal.Comment
