Tuesday, the team will start OTAs in Orchard Park and while it's voluntary, you can bet the majority of the roster will be on hand, ready to end the teams 12-year playoff drought. Fitzpatrick said, “We're one of the last teams to get going in that process. We're still in phase two and just from talking to other guys around the league, it's exciting to get out there versus a defense and all that. There's a lot of stuff we can build on from last year and the OTAs will be a good start for us to get going again.”
Fitzpatrick adds for the first time, the team appears to have a united front -- players who naturally over time have stepped up in and out of the locker room. “When I got here, Fred wasn't much of a name and no one knew who Stevie was and I was just beginning. Two seventh round picks and an un-drafted guy -- it's been a nice thing to bond over.”
Organized team activities get underway Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of next week and throughout June.
