RB C.J. Spiller is not discouraged by his place on the depth chart heading into the season. Though Spiller had a tremendous finish in 2011, he is considered the No. 2 RB behind Fred Jackson. “I'm not worried about carries,” Spiller said. “When your number's called, you have to be ready and take advantage of it. It'll come. I've got a strong faith, I know my time will come.”

Re: RB Spiller: 'I know my time will come'
great attitude indeed
fortunately i think his time as the same kind of backup he has been is at an end. buddy wont subject a thirty one year old back to twenty carries a game any longer when hes got somebody almost as good (and plenty of upside) ready to go. and with all the spread formations they use they will have both guys running lots of routes. when all is said and done they will be a lot closer in total plays from scrimmage this season than they were lastOne set of rules for all in the beloved community

Re: RB Spiller: 'I know my time will come'
I'm guessing we'll see somewhere around a 60/40 split in carries this season with the majority going to Fred Jackson. I expect to see a transition to Spiller getting the majority of the carries in 2013 though.
