    ESPN's Clayton Predicts 2012 Records

Here's a link to Clayton's predictions for the AFC East. He has the Bills finishing 9-7 and making the playoffs as a WC.

After running the numbers, ESPN.com pro football writer John Clayton arrived at a win total for every team in the division for 2012. Is each figure too high, too low or spot on?

Bills have to hope that the AFC North clubs beat each other into a pulp.

or else losing at least 9...people discredit his negative comments about the Bills so may as well be consistent. Predictions mean crap.

I meant he's been wrong with his negative predictions so I'm counting the other way

              And at most 7.

I'm always optimistic going into a new season, anything can happen and thats why they play the game.

But I also tend to be careful with my optimism by balancing it with a healthy dose of realism and doubt. Like I just said, anything CAN and will happen. Be it injuries or what not, but I feel more optimistic about this season more than the few previous seasons.

If not this year, give them all one more year with the new lineup to make it concrete and get us to playing in late January/February.

I prefer Optimism for the offseason. Plenty of reality to be had during the actual season. If the wheels come off then I will wallow in negativity, but not a moment before then

Right, there will be plenty of time for gripes and making whine during the season. Nothing wrong with optimism this time of year, unless you suffer from low self esteem. :snicker2:

Outside of Cleveland everyone in the North will win 8 games plus. Cleveland will be lucky to win 5. LOL

Clayton is not a Bills fan, & in the past has been very critical of them. I heard him on the radio call the Bills his dark horse team in the AFC to make the playoffs. I think it goes to show that the National media is starting to pay attention to the upgrades the Bills have made this offseason.

Every year the media has darlings in each conference to just turn things around, this year we're the AFC team.

New and different for some good pub.

Agreed, but the Bills are the media darling for reason this year & the reason is there is no doubt in anybodys mind that the Bills have upgraded the team this offseason.
