Here's a link to Clayton's predictions for the AFC East. He has the Bills finishing 9-7 and making the playoffs as a WC.

I'm always optimistic going into a new season, anything can happen and thats why they play the game.
But I also tend to be careful with my optimism by balancing it with a healthy dose of realism and doubt. Like I just said, anything CAN and will happen. Be it injuries or what not, but I feel more optimistic about this season more than the few previous seasons.
If not this year, give them all one more year with the new lineup to make it concrete and get us to playing in late January/February.

I prefer Optimism for the offseason. Plenty of reality to be had during the actual season. If the wheels come off then I will wallow in negativity, but not a moment before then

Re: ESPN's Clayton Predicts 2012 Records
Clayton is not a Bills fan, & in the past has been very critical of them. I heard him on the radio call the Bills his dark horse team in the AFC to make the playoffs. I think it goes to show that the National media is starting to pay attention to the upgrades the Bills have made this offseason.

Every year the media has darlings in each conference to just turn things around, this year we're the AFC team.
New and different for some good pub.
