As The Oakland Raiders were deciding their 2003 draft picks this past April, Brigham Young University competitor Dustin Rykert was anticipating his whereabouts for the upcoming years. With a successful high school and college career already completed, this offensive tackle was ready to tackle the next chapter in his life.
Known as the Cougar player who was one of the most outgoing and personable athletes on the team, Rykert was delighted to join the Silver and Black family after being selected in the 6th Round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
