Last year at this time, the Rams had four of their eight draft picks under contract. The remaining four signed between the Fourth of July and the start of training camp three weeks later.
This year, negotiations are moving more slowly. The Rams picked 11 players in the draft in April, and so far not one of them has been signed. So, it's safe to say that the team will be quite busy over the next few weeks.
But the Rams won't be alone. Of the 262 players chosen in the draft, at last count only 44 had been signed, and most of them are lower-round players....
