Bills current cap room along with 2013 projection

Currently we sit with $7,382,319 in cap room.

Josh Scobee wants a new deal, and he's surely noticed all the money the Jags have left. Brian McIntyre has noticed it, too, and breaks down the salary-cap situations for all 32 teams.

Next year, according to this, we will have $111,913,143 spent toward the cap.

It appears that the 2013 cap will be set at around 120.9 mill.

Although revenues will soar in the coming years, the salary-cap ceiling won't see a significant hike, John Clayton writes.

They have McKelvin on our roster next season but no Byrd noR Levitre... Not a good projection IMO.

Totally agree. They are 2 keys to our future success.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

They've also got Ron Brooks 2013 salary at $100,250... Isn't $480,000 about as low as it goes?

They can't include Byrd or Levitre because as of right now neither player is signed beyond this season. That's why Merriman isn't on there either. So it's not a projection of what they think the roster will look like, it's just showing what's currently on the Bills book for 2013.

I doubt Kelsay and Dwan Edwards are still on the team in 2013. Their two salaries alone for 2013 add up to $9 million with only $800,000 in dead cap space for Kelsay.

EDIT: You can also throw in another $3 million in savings for cutting Thigpen and all of sudden the Bills cap for 2013 starts to look a lot better.
