Why not?!?!? It is a better jersey recycle number too in case you need a new nameplate for when people buy Foligno too. Heck, some people might have some way old Foligno #17's!!

McNabb looks to be wearing 52 and not his "usual" 81. maybe we will see a few new numbers this year.

I heard him in an interview stating he likes the number 82 and he is keeping that. I did hear Ott was taking #9.

I wonder if those guys use the teams practice jerseys and they are assigned either numbers already worn or number 1-whatever.

Why would players who already have numbers get assigned different numbers? Daddy Warbucks couldn't spring for customs? I mean, they took the trouble to do nameplates ...

He did say in an interview yesterday that he may switch to #17 and has not made up his mind.

Prospect Camps use different Numbers...... duh.....

Why?
I know the 99.9% of us who aren't hockey insiders are idiots for asking such a stupid question. I mean, OBVIOUSLY a guy would wear a different number than he normally does!

Mostly because a majority of these players didn't have a Sabres jersey, which means they couldn't have a number to keep.

Foligno also wore 13 on Tuesday and Wednesday.

They're just training camp numbers. Except for Hodgson wearing 19.

Luke Adam wore 12 or something, I can't remember.
