It's crazy that people ignore Tebow's ****ty football performances because he has strong religious convictions.

Football is what it is: it's football. The players should be admired or criticized for what they do or don't do on the field, and that should be the end of it. What they do off the field should be completely irrelevant, good or bad, as long as it doesn't result in suspensions or negative attention or anything else that negatively impacts the team.

Name ONE other backup QB that gets that kind of treatment.

And also, the hating on Tebow isn't because of his religion. It's because of his lack of performance on the field. The guy somehow got wins by sucking for 3 1/2 quarters then coming up with a handful of good plays. It may have worked in the short term but it won't long-term.

Well, if McCoy ever gets his team into the playoffs & wins a playoff game I bet he will get some credit for that, but I doubt that will be on the Browns.

And for people that want to replace Fitz just for the sake of change, if Weeden is the starter on opening day, he will be the 10th different starting QB the Browns have had opening day in the last 14 years.

And who's giving Tebow all this credit? Himself? Is he going around saying look how great he is? No. He's nothing but humble, praising everyone else around him but himself. It's the media that hypes him up. How is this his fault? How can you hate him for that?

Whether it's his fault or not is irrelevant. It's annoying as hell to get such a mediocre QB crammed down our throats, and it's even more annoying to hear everyone talk about how great his Christianity is every time someone points out his mediocrity on the football field.

Hell, if people weren't so obsessed with the Christian aspect, I suspect that the media attempting to cram such a mediocre QB down our throats wouldn't work at all.
