Players that might make the team because of injuries

I don't think the following would make the final 53 under normal conditions, but if there are season-ending injuries to someone in their position group they might make the final squad.

QB - Thigpen.
RB - Johnny White
WR - Hagan or Roosevelt.
TE - Caussin
OT - Young
C - Asper
K/P - Potter/Powell
DE - Moore
DT - Gilbert
OLB - White/Batten
ILB - McKillop
CB - Probably a street FA
S - Howell

Possible. Maybe the favorite to beat Johnson out of the fifth DE spot (If they keep five. If they only keep four, which I doubt, he'll have sneak in after an injury).

As I understand it, White and McKillop are essentially in a head to head competition for backup middle linebacker. The winner sticks and the loser starts bagging groceries unless an injury occurs.

Give me Carmon over Young at OT. At least Carmon flashes ability, and can back up at OT or OG.

At this point Im not sure he can be. Either that or he has the worst luck known to man.

I would be very surprised if either make it (again, barring injury) unless the team decides to keep 7 LBers and only 5 CB's (instead of 6 each) which would be very foolish IMO. I'm still counting Scott as a safety, BTW and not a LBer, either.
