I don't know how everyone feels about tattoo's, nor do I care. I have 6, all but 2 are for passed family members. Celtic cross for my sister, harp for my gram, Norwegian Cross for my grampa, and a saying for my dog. The others are a song that reminds me of my sister, and the Bills logo on my right shoulder.
After moving to Charlotte, NC, my fiancee was trying to find a piercing place and I was looking for a new artist. I was looking up "Bill's" online, and came across by accident a place called Tattoo Bill's. Intrigued, I took my girl to get a piercing issue out of the way. I waited in the car, didn't think twice, and she was in and out. About 6 months later, (a week ago) my dog was killed in a hit and run. Distraught, I decided to get a tattoo for her. Tattoo Bill's was the only place I'd known of, so I went in.
Since it's hotter than the shades of Hades down here, I wore a sleeveless shirt in. I gave the guy my drawing, he drew it up, then he saw my Bills hat. He said "wow, wish Steph was here to see that." I didn't think twice of it, and he took me to the back. He walked past and he says "Well ****, you're a big Bills fan man, is that a Bills tattoo?" after seeing my right shoulder. I said yep, joking to him not to take offense for not being a Panthers fan. Smirking, he said "I'm gonna have to tell Bill to have a special meet Steph day with all the fans down here." Putting 2 and 2 together, I asked "Who is Steph by chance?" The owner came over and showed me every single tattoo that Stephon Gilmore had done in that shop. He then proceeded to show me pictures of him personally with him in High School, at his house, and so on.
By complete coincidence I walked in to the tattoo parlor of one of Stephon Gilmore's fathers good friends. They've done a ton of work on celebrities, and he said that Stephon is going to get a new one soon and that it might be Bills related... If so, I'll have to "accidentally" walk in to the shop that day and get a picture.
But not all things were good in the end... Upon walking out, he said "Say, there was another Gamecock who was a Bill, right?" I shuttered. He said "Ko Simpson! Here, we have a picture of him right up front!" Let's hope there's not some sort of tattoo-needle curse...
