    An NFL ghost town

    The environment in Los Angeles for professional football is inhospitable for many reasons.
    LOS ANGELES – He’s young, upwardly mobile and, by his own admission, a football junkie.
    Los Angeles resident Jerod Day is just the kind of guy NFL executives would love to sink their claws into as they circle this sprawling city in hopes of hatching a franchise.

    Except for one pesky problem.

    “I’m a die-hard Broncos fan,” says the curly-haired 26 year old, who grew up in Colorado and only recently moved to L.A.’s popular Fairfax district.
