    BBD: Preseason Preview Week 1: Washington Redskins

    On Thursday night the Buffalo Bills will officially kick off their preseason season as they welcome the Washington Redskins to town and hopefully give rookie QB Robert Griffin III a very rude welcome to the NFL. This game will be the debut of the Bills own star player as DE Mario Williams is expected to start and should play about around 15-18 snaps according to head coach Chan Gailey. Meanwhile Griffin and the Redskins starting units will be in there for 12-20 snaps according to Mike Shannahan.
    I included full depth charts for all four units for reference sake and they are color coded because clearly I have too much time on my hands.

    I am beginning to like Griffin, he's classy athlete. I hate the Skins and Shannahan though, so off with his head!
    I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
    "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
    You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all     true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
    He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can     mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

        Good write-up. I was a bit surprised when TB cut 2nd year man Dez Briscoe. Played all 16 games, 2 starts, 35 receptions for 387 yards, 6 touchdowns. CIN tried to sneak him past waivers, but the Bucs grabbed him.
