preseason isn't everything but it matters most especially to guys trying to make the team.

everything else is completely meaningless

Preseason is completely meaningless except to the bottom 10 guys on the roster fighting it out to make the team AND keeping your top 22 healthy. Nothing more, nothing less.

I like the evaluation process... A chance to see young guys in action and something to discuss for a week

it's not a scam. Its a tool for coaches to evaluate, and implement

I think its useful for vets to hone there skills against someone else, and like I said above it serves a purpose in regards to preparation.
