To encourage more betting from novices and to make Fat Tony's life easier- Fat Tony will be making the betting process easier.

1) NO JUICE! Fat Tony will not charge juice for any bets placed


2)- All bets on games are be settled AFTER the games are played- If you place multiple bets on NFL or other sports, Fat Tony will wait untill all games in that sport wagered on are settled.

3) Betting on ODDS instead of GAMES All wagers bet on ODDS instead of original games must be made IN ADVANCE Odds are betting on an outcome- 3-1, 4-1, 10-1....ect......NOT point spreads or over/unders

4) NO MORE CHANGING LINES Lines posted are the lines for the week. Fat Tony will only use HIS LINES. No whining about what the lines are in the paper. Any game listed as an NL or no line game IS OFF THE BOARD. No bets placed on a NL game will be honored.

5) Bet any amount up to $200 No restrictions on amounts wagered below $200

I will take some bets for over $200, but Fat Tony must approve the bet before gametime. These bets may be accepted or turned down.

Betting is made in ZoneBucks ONLY!!!

Be patient. Fat Tony does other things as well and may not be available immediatly after the games to pay up. If you think he has erronously missed your pick or goofed up the bet, feel free to PM him.

PUSH= Any bet that ends in a tie. If a team is favored by 3 points and wins by 3 points, the net result is a tie / PUSH. No winner, No loser.

Simple Betting 101

The line is a number that bookies put on a game to get bettors to place money on a team. Below is a sample of games played this week. The Favorite is the team in the left column, the underdog is the team in the right column. Home teams are in CAPS.

The number in between is the amount of points the favorite is favored by. (also called the spread). The number way over on the right is the total points scored by both teams. This is also called betting the over/under

San Francisco 3½ N.Y. GIANTS 38½

Sunday's games

TENNESSEE 1 Philadelphia 37
N.Y. Jets 3 BUFFALO 40½
WASHINGTON 7 Arizona 43½

If you want to bet on a team to win a game, add or subtract the line from the final score. If you picked the 49ers to beat the Giants, you would have lost. The Final Score was SF 16, NYG 13 (minus-3.5 from SF) the betting score would be NYG 13, SF 12.5.

Betting the Over/Under is another way to bet on games. A lot of people took the Over on the Bills /Jets game. The total was 40.5
Many smart bettors thought the Bills and Jets woiuld combine for more than 40 total points. They were right, they combined for 68.

If you took the UNDER in the SF/Giants game , you would have won- they combined for only 29 total points.

THat's not how it works, kid!

Go to the sports bar, Fat tony has all the games listed. Just pick a line and bet on it.


I don't think Fat Tony takes bets Via PM unless you are one of his high rollers....

o nvm i think i get(im only a kid not really know much bout gambling) so if it say indy 4 1/2 that means if i bet 5 ZB i get 21?

Nope. You only get the 5 ZB's

The only time fat Tony pays odds is when he sets lines for a certain game

IE: Bills vs Miami, First to score:
Miami 3-1
Buffalo 3-1

If you bet 100 ZB's on Miami to score first, you will win 300 if they do. Of course you have to make your donation first. Then Fat Tony will pay out if you win.

Placing a bet on a line like Indy -4.5 will only result in an even payout if Indy wins by more than 4.5

Uh..... Read Fat Tony's betting rules in the signature. If you bet on pint spreads- wait until the game is over then you donate zonebucks to me/I donate to you via the zone store.

If you bet on "Odds" (like who will be the Bill's first pick in the draft) you pay the bet in advance via the zone store link (below your avatar)
