IMO the Bills are easily...yes, easily the second best team in the division. The Jets are going to be a train wreck. The Fins are going to have a top three pick in the draft.

That leaves the Bills. I will not say we are better than the Pats, but it does leave us in 2nd place with a chance at a Wild Card. Plus, the front four and Wanny's history of confusing Brady lends me to believe we have a puncher's chance against New England.

The Music City Miracle is the last time we were in the playoffs. I want a playoff game. If we can get to 4-2 in the division. I also see a nice stretch of games to finish the year for this team.

I could give a rat's fanny about the preseason. I think Chan manufactures an offense and I think our D just gets better and better.

Stay the course Bills fans and lets hope for some January football.

Funny, when I saw the thread title my first thought was 'we need to get four wins in the division, minimum'. I hope Chan can manufacture an offense, and most have more faith in Wanny than I do. Our talent is better, IMO, but I don't know if our coaching is. My initial (and continuing) biggest criticism of Gailey was his hires as coordinators, including himself as OC, and that's one area where we haven't gotten better.

I'm pretty sure I'm not as confident as some about the first couple of games of the season. If we lose to the Jets and Chiefs and come out of the gate 0-2, things could get real ugly, real quick.

havent gotten better since when? they got dramatically better last season. even after crashing and burning the last half they still ended up higher ranked than any offense in ten years except lurches first year. if youre referring to this season, thats really tbd and frankly im not even worried because i think they get it together by the time the games count

i think the jets will be handicapped by their offense all season but they are still a force on defense so i wouldnt count them out. they could still eek out ten wins and end up ahead of the bills, especially if they continue beating us twice a season. the fish will be putrid so we dont have to worry about them. and of course the cheaters have that gift from god glam man that turned bill from a career mediocre hc to a sudden genius so second place is probably the best we can hope for anyway

the team needs to stay at or above .500 heading into their last seven games where they play a string of what should be weak teams and five of them at home. then a 4-1 or even 3-2 record gives them a shot at a wc. i think this team should be good enough to be in that position, which will make that last almost half season the funnest in a long time

I think we're going to suck because it's going to take us a few years to know how to utilize the talent we have. I also think Dave Wanny. is a choke / quitter that's incapable of being aggressive, so getting studs to run when your conservative means you don't have studs.
