WGRZ is reporting much the same thing, leading the 5pm newscast with it.

They add that the Bills aren't saying what hospital he's in, or what he's hospitalized for.

Good condition? They must have the wrong guy. Ralph hasn't been in good condition in about 15 years.

Probably a hospital in or around Detroit, with injuries from a fall.

The beginning of the end...

no, the beginning of the end was when he didn't make it to Buffalo for games last year for the first time ever.

Ralph is 93 years old, I hope he doesn't pass soon, but he has lived a nice long life and definitely left his mark in this World.
Get well Mr. Wilson

Please get well soon, and please don't let it be nothing too serious....And him being the Bills' owner has nothing to do with it.

Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson is in the hospital, according to a WGRZ report. .

A Bills spokesperson did not tell WGRZ why Wilson, 93, was in the hospital, but said he was in good condition.

Wilson was well enough to attend a dedication in early August of a new center named in his honor on the grounds of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

It was nearly a year ago that the Bills' owner suffered a broken hip.

Wilson, who will turn 94 in October, has been noticeably absent from Bills games over the past year. He missed his first home game in 52 years last year because of the broken hip.

It is now real - I read it on the interwebs

Really hope he's OK. It would also be nice to know if he has a set plan for when he passes.

He finally opened his pocket book this year.

Uh oh, where do we stand as far as backup owner? Are we going to make a trade? Good thing this happened in the pre-season and not the regular season. How much would the Pats want for Bob Kraft?

Not really sure that's a good thing. People in good health don't usually get hospitalized for infections. They get sent home with antibiotics.

It's a minor infection, at his age it could of been something much worse and seeing that there was no news till this morning just what was wrong, finding out that it wasn't something life threatening e.g. heart, it is good news. If you couldn't understand that's what I meant, especially with the sentence that followed, you have comprehension problems or you were just trying to be a .....

Ralph Wilson still played tennis regularly into his late 80s.

The guy's got good genes where long life is concerned.

Hopefully this health scare is minor so he can witness our triumphant return to the playoffs.

THIS SEASON.

"Wilson Apparently Still Hospitalized," this was from last night. I thought with a "minor infection" he would of been home in a day or two at the most. I guess at 93, no illness is minor. Hopefully he gets well soon and is still with us for a few more years at least. With all he has done for football for over 50 years, he deserves to win a Super Bowl trophy.

I don't think too much can be inferred from this.

Certainly it's not a good thing that he's still in the hospital, and I'm sure the team or his family would have announced it if/when he is released. At the same time, there is no reason to assume the worst. He's old and his health has been failing for a while- in those situations, it often takes longer to get relatively routine medical problems under control.

If he's still in the hospital a few days from now from an "infection," well, then it would be cause for concern.

Apparently the Bills organization will not be providing updates on Ralph Wilson's condition. We will have to rely on outside sources which are hardly ever accurate to find out about his current status. They are attempting to silence anyone close to the organization from speaking on his condition. This is what I've heard.

Can Coach Sal or anyone with connections back this up?

If they are going to these lengths to hide his condition, it can't be good.

I've actually said this before. I think Ralph actually died about 5 years ago and Russ Brandon has been controlling him with a crude system of ropes and pulleys, a la Weekend at Bernies.

Yeah, it's one of the top stories on the local evening news tonight. He's out.

The last couple of seasons must be really tough for him, not being able to attend every game in person.
