Holy crap how sweet it would be to snag him. Do we have the cap space?

I hope he stays with the Ravens. Would hate to see him with the Jets.

Is he still 400lbs?

Bills aren't going to the Super Bowl this season, why would they sign a 30+ year old tackle?

Locker room turd who hates buffalo. Pass.

nah. Rather Glenn develops on the go and becomes the franchise LT we haven't had since we gave ours away after developing him.

I'd rather have a veteran who can keep Fitz clean while Glenn develops into a true NFL tackle. How is McKinnie a locker room turd? Hates Buffalo? Where does this info come from?

So we don't try to upgrade if we think we have no chance to go to the superbowl? Amazing how anyone with that philosophy ever gets better.

Is he in shape? Bring him in for a physical. Can't hurt.

google him. Sounds like too much excess baggage

He was rumored to be opposed to being drafted by Buffalo when we held the #4 overall pick in 2002. Instead we chose Mike Williams who was a bust.

Big guy with some talent, but has Albert Haynesworth's work ethic.

Never substantiated.

Most of the times that's more an agent issue than a player issue with a certain town/team.

As for McKinnie we passed already once, can't see them making a move the 2nd time around the merry go round.

Bryant McKinnie's agent, Michael George, told me he just agreed to a restructured deal for McKinnie to remain a Raven

I live here in Minneapolis. Vikings press and fans still joke about how terrible a teammate McKinnie was. They've go zero regrets about letting him go for nothing. Here's an excerpt from an article that came out when they released him:

MANKATO - The Vikings always seemed willing to put up with Bryant McKinnie's antics because the athletic ability he possessed was simply too great to jettison him.

When the 6-8 left tackle was involved in the infamous "Love Boat" incident on Lake Minnetonka in 2005, or a street brawl in Miami in 2008, or decided to bolt from the Pro Bowl in 2010, the Vikings forgave him and hoped things would change.
On Tuesday, that patience finally ran out. The Vikings announced they had released McKinnie.
The final straw came when McKinnie showed up to training camp weighing far more than what the Vikings wanted -- close to 400 pounds, according to an NFL source. His listed weight was 335.

The dude is like the Anti-Bill.

Why is it that whenever a guy who is a free agent signs with another team someone ends up posting he "hates Buffalo"?

The rumors I heard were that Donahoe didn't like his character & picked a "high character" guy in Williams instead.

Williams gave 'em a couple of good years. Why they drafted a fellow with pencil sized ankles - dunno.

So how is Glenn supposed to develop if he's not playing? For once the Bills are set at LT. Why on earth do we want this turd?

Glenn needs to get a few reps in a real game before anybody should claim we are 'set' at LT. He's looked better as the preseason as moved along, but he's going to be shell-shocked this Sunday when the bullets are flying for real.

Good. Keeps him out of the Jests dirty paws. Our D line should be licking their lips for week 1.

3rd time actually as he was available when the Vikings cut him a few years back but agreed we wouldn't go after him now.

He reported to training camp very overweight. I doubt 6 weeks was enough to turn back the clock. And as others have said, he has a long history of dissing the Bills.

Well either he or his agent told the world in 2004 he did not want to go to Buffalo. If it wasn't true, he should have said so at the time. He didn't.

Since then he has held out with multiple years on his contract. He has showed up to training camp 50 pounds overweight while under contact. He has been arrested at least twice.

It's clear he's not a Buddy Nix guy.

It really doesn't matter who is lined up in front of him, You know Rex with have his D confusing the **** out of a rookie LT. I hope for the best, but I feel like we may see a few big plays given up by Glenn.

The strength of the Jets D is in the back end. I could see them getting a pick or 2 from Fitz, hopefully no more than that, but I'm not worried about them putting much pressure on Fitz.

Sorry I meant twice being on the open market, but you are correct technically.
