His career numbers put him on the same pace as guys like Julius Peppers and DeMarcus Ware.

Are Peppers and Ware HOF type players in your opinion? If so, so is Mario.

Mario was overpaid by the Bills butt there is no denying our DL was better with him and Darius then it currently is now.

I expect the Jets will also attempt to run the ball down our throats through a below average DL and through talent-less LBs to DBs who have various levels of interest in making a tackle.

I am just going to concentrate on getting very very drunk in Orchard Park on Thursday.

Dolphins want Mario Williams to play harder and play better

Defensive end Mario Williams (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3636/mario-williams)‘ stay with the Bills came to an end this offseason after a 2015 that saw Williams complain about the team’s defensive scheme while others in the organization complained about his effort level.

Williams landed with the Dolphins as a free agent and had nothing but positive things to say about Miami’s scheme this offseason, but the Dolphins don’t seem overly pleased with what they’ve gotten from the veteran. Williams has seven tackles and a sack on the season, none of which were recorded in last week’s loss to the Titans.

Tennessee ran for 235 yards in that game and defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said that Williams has to do more in that area and work harder overall to meet the team’s expectations.

“He’s got to play harder (http://www.espn.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/81794/dolphins-mario-williams-byron-maxwell-challenged-to-play-better); he’s got to play better,” Joseph said, via ESPN.com. “Obviously, he’s being allowed to rush the passer. But the games we’ve been in, it’s been more run-first, pass-second games. So for us to be a great rushing team, we have to earn the right. … If they want to rush more, stop the run more consistently.”

The Dolphins haven’t done that yet this season and there’s not much in Williams’ recent history to suggest he’ll be part of the solution to the problem.

He wasn't the only poster who questioned the acquisition of Williams - his performance, the high cost of his contract and how it affected the team's available $ to acquire other players, his contract's cap effect and so forth.

Times have moved on, but back when, his price tag was a big, big thing. BUF tossed a lot of eggs in his basket, and the dividends his play produced were small. He got his sacks for a time, didn't do much other than try to pad same, laid down his last season here, and didn't nudge the team into the playoffs.

You're carrying hat burden, eh?

Maybe you can teach the mouth breathers all about what happened in today's Bills game, after you don't even watch it too...then we'll all hoist you on our shoulders and parade you up and down the town square in gratitude.
