You figure that the best new franchise QBs of the future already have their teams: Cam, Luck, Bradford, RG3, etc.... Every time period has its dominant QBs and teams and there are very rarely penetrators of the elite. In the 2000's its been Brady, Brees, and Manning, in the late 90's it was Farve, Elway, Warner, and in the late 80's/early 90's it was Young, Aikman, Kelly, Marino, etc...

Usually, you can expect a 12-15 year career. Hopefully by 2024 we can draft our franchise QB and be good until 2036. Most likely, that wont happen either.

We could finish out the season 15-1, and it isn't going to change the fact that we did look like a jv team this past Sunday.
