Despite reports to the contrary last week, Bills CEO Russ Brandon in his weekly appearance on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550 explained that there will not be a scenario in a new Toronto deal that will have more than one regular season game a year played at the Rogers Centre.

“We’re continuing those negotiations and we’re close to an agreement,” said Brandon. ”But the one thing that I will say is the report in the Buffalo News was not accurate. The one thing I want to make clear is we will not be playing multiple regular season games in Toronto.”

That is exactly what will happen too. If we ever actually were to have a home game they would get it and close the dome. How pathetic is that?

yeah just not regular season games. Then again maybe they will get preseason games.....that would actually be a huge benefit for season ticket holders! I hope they do that....

Thank god. Time to scrap Toronto all together. Just make a Niagra stadium and get both sets of fans there. It's pretty simple

One preseason game to Toronto & one to Syracuse. Now that would be regionalization.

Stadium in Niagara Falls makes too much sense it's a win win for a whole lot of stakeholders...it will never happen.

The Niagara Falls political machine is as corrupt as the Buffalo political machine. The Jets and the Giants had the common sense to get out of NYS a while back.

I was watching the game tonight on a Canadian station and they were advertising tickets calling the Bills, "Our Buffalo Bills." God damn Canadians. *** off, they are ours.

Rochester and Syracuse do not have stadiums to accommodate NFL games.

Carrier Dome seats 49k+ I do believe. More than enough room for a preseason game.

I think a preseason game in Syracuse is a great idea. I wonder if they have considered it at all? 49k seats is more than enough for a preseason game.

are there any high end accommodations for corporate sponsors though? I don't think the carrier dome is an NFL stadium to be honest...

That's a good point, but I think you could generate more interest and sell more tickets for a preseason game in Syracuse than in Buffalo. Plus it's one less meaningless game that season ticket holders have to buy, which should help boost those sales.

There no reason for the Carrier Dome not rearrange a couple of seating areas for the Corporate seating.

Watching a game at the Carrier Dome is like sitting outside on an overcast day. On an aluminum bench.

Don't thnk for a second Russ Brandon and the Bills wouldn't be there more if the margin is better for them and fits into a short and long term business plan.

This has nothing to do with taking care of the fans.

Ralph and Littman and whoever is organizing the transition plan can shampoo my crotch.

It was certainly innovative when it was built, but you'd think they would turn the lights on. I doubt the university is hurting for $.

Lol. This just made me think...remember when Russ Brandon was the Bills' GM? That was hysterical...and very sad.

Nothing like the combination of Marv and Brandon as the GM's over a several year period. That really set us back for years. Marv was in over his head and Brandon should've never been a GM in the first place. Only Ralph.
