The punt coverage has been nothing to write home about (most yds. allowed), maybe a new gunner can change that, although it may have more to do with Moorman's punting. He was killing it in the preseason, but he's been pretty inconsistent so far, having the 2nd lowest net average (31.2) with only 1 inside the 20. I'm also starting to wonder if Bruce DeHaven is the right man for the job, it's no longer 1990.

I think he was on hot on the heels on the guy who returned the punt against us in Week 1. He has been on the field as an WR, only he isn't really a threat to be targeted, or catch the ball once he is. I wonder if there isn't another professional athlete who can help us in this capacity?

Ruvell Martin is a nice enough guy, I am sure, but would seem that his position could be filled with somebody that could play ST or WR...or both. It does seem like somebody else may be able to run down the field and down a punt before it goes into the endzone, and it doesn't need to be a player that is not of use in any other facet of the game. If we had 63 players on the roster I would give my full throated support to keeping him in Buffalo.
