I guess I'll be the humanitarian... I hope he's not too seriously injured and this doesn't affect the rest of his playing career too much. He's an elite player and as I've understood a very good person, so I hope he makes a decent recovery and can make a comeback. His loss decimates a team as much as losing an elite running back... so where my sympathy doesn't lie is with the fact we lost TWO.

I hope the Jet's fail miserably this year... like... complete implosion, no remorse. When it comes to Revis though, I wish him the best.

Revis means more to the Jets defense than any defensive player means to their team IMO. Because he can single cover the top WR and shut him down it frees up other players to blitz. This will probably cause the Jets to miss the playoffs.

Nothing against Revis, but this couldn't have happened to a better team. The Jets rely so much on one CB to lock down about half of the field. It completely ****s up their scheme.

Of course, I don't wish severe injuries on anyone. I'm also glad that surgery is so sophisticated now that it's almost a guarantee that he'll be 100% next year at this time, but I'd be a fool not to hope the Jets stumble and fall without him. The door just opened a bit more for the Bills to move toward the top of the division.
